Sales will begin on April 1, 2022! Late last year, with the cooperation of NTT East, a joint project between Iruma City tea farmers and Nihon Yakushi University students began. Students from Nihon Pharmaceutical University suggested flavor ingredients (fruits, flowers, herbal medicines, etc.) that go well with Sayama tea (sencha, hojicha, Japanese black tea, genmaicha with matcha), and the tea farmers blended them to create Sayama tea flavored tea with soothing flavors and taste. Shimizuen blends our sencha with strawberry, peppermint, maikaikaika (rose flower), and wolfberry. The package design was chosen from junior high and high school students in Iruma City!
